About
Using synthetic materials Adam Parker Smith creates playful sculptures of convincing appearance that actually make satirical commentary and address socio-political issues such as environmental pollution and global warming. Parker Smith attended University of California at Santa Cruz, the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. His works have been exhibited internationally in prestigious galleries and museums including: Urbis, Manchester, England, the Brooklyn Museum, the Times Museum, Guangzhou, China, Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe, Austria, and the Maraya Art Centre, Sharjah, UAE. The artist lives and works in New York.
